 My Journey into SEO

It all started with a dream. One day, I stumbled upon an SEO job posting on LinkedIn. The role intrigued me, but I didn’t fully understand what it entailed. Curiosity took over, and I began researching SEO. I quickly realized that while it was a well-paying and rewarding field, it also required dedication and effort. Though the challenge seemed daunting, I couldn’t shake the thought of pursuing this career.

Months later, another SEO job listing caught my eye—this time from a different company. Seeing how in-demand SEO professionals were sparked something in me. I told myself, “I like this job. I want to learn how to do it.” However, I had no idea where to start or how to gain the skills required for the role.

Then, an opportunity arose. While freelancing, I applied for a position at Study.com, which was hiring link builders. To my delight, I was accepted, and my journey in SEO began. I discovered that link building was a critical aspect of SEO, and I quickly fell in love with the process of connecting websites through meaningful links. After eight months with Study.com, the project ended, and I found myself seeking my next challenge.

Determined to continue in SEO, I applied to Jooble, where I was introduced to off-page SEO strategies like outreach and guest posting. This deeper dive into SEO solidified my passion for the field.

Finding My Passion

While freelancing gave me valuable experience, I began to miss the camaraderie and structure of an office setting. My search for the right role led me to MyPortal Marketing, where I was fortunate to land a position that allowed me to work on both on-page and off-page SEO. It was here that my understanding of SEO became comprehensive, and I saw firsthand how impactful SEO strategies are for businesses.

To further hone my skills, I enrolled in a course with Pinoy SEO, where I gained insights into advanced SEO techniques. These learnings have equipped me to deliver exceptional results to my clients.

Why I Love SEO

Who would have thought that a simple dream could lead to such a fulfilling career? From the early days of not knowing where to start, I now have a full understanding of SEO, including its processes and the immense value it brings to businesses. Watching my clients’ websites climb the ranks on search engine results pages (SERPs) is incredibly rewarding.

SEO has become more than just a job—it’s my passion. It’s a field where I thrive, constantly learning and adapting to new challenges. Whether it’s crafting strategies, building backlinks, or optimizing content, I approach every task with enthusiasm and dedication.
